Cinderford in Herefordshire Accommodation Hotels Cottages Inns and Pubs
As to be expected from being one of the many visited villages in the Royal forest of Dean, Cinderford has a good variety of accommodation in the form of hotels, B&B's, holiday cottages and inns. The village has also a good selection of restaurants and tea shops
The Belfry is nestled on the edge of the Forest of Dean and originates from early mining days
It was then known as The George and was used by local people after a hard nights work down the mines, in fact the pub was frequently full at 4.00am in the morning! The George, like mining in the Forest fell on hard times and was closed by its brewery owner. It was purchased in 1991 by the Bell family who with the help of local people have created The Belfry.
The Belfry offers en-suite accommodation of 21 rooms, comprising of two family rooms, four twin rooms and fifteen double rooms. good food served in the main bar or our tastefully furnished restaurant. Traditional ales, lagers, ciders and full range of spirits and bottled beer. The Belfry also hosts a children's room, children's play area, background music system and satellite television.
All rooms at The Belfry Hotel have en-suite bathrooms (bath or shower), central heating, colour T.V. with various sky channels and tea/coffee making facilities.
The Belfry has just recently been refurbished
