As to be expected from being one of the many visited villages in the Royal forest of Dean, Cinderford has a good variety of accommodation in the form of hotels, B&B's, holiday cottages and inns. The village has also a good selection of restaurants and tea shops
The Belfry is nestled on the edge of the Forest of Dean and originates from early mining days
It was then known as The George and was used by local people after a hard nights work down the mines, in fact the pub was frequently full at 4.00am in the morning! The George, like mining in the Forest fell on hard times and was closed by its brewery owner. It was purchased in 1991 by the Bell family who with the help of local people have created The Belfry.
The Belfry offers en-suite accommodation of 21 rooms, comprising of two family rooms, four twin rooms and fifteen double rooms. good food served in the main bar or our tastefully furnished restaurant. Traditional ales, lagers, ciders and full range of spirits and bottled beer. The Belfry also hosts a children's room, children's play area, background music system and satellite television.
All rooms at The Belfry Hotel have en-suite bathrooms (bath or shower), central heating, colour T.V. with various sky channels and tea/coffee making facilities.

An outstanding place to visit at any time of the year. The Forest of Dean is one of England's few remaining ancient forests. Between The River Wye and River Severn on the borders of England and Wales it boasts 27,000 acres of beautiful woodland to explore, many wonderful sites and local attractions and breathtaking walks.
The Cottage is located on a quiet rural lane and sits on its own, backing onto fields and surrounded by woodland. Opposite is the Gloucestershire Way, a great start for a walking holiday. In addition, there are many beautiful walks that can be taken in the immediate vicinity and at the end of the road is St Anthony's Well, a local beauty spot. You could easily find that you've been staying at the cottage for several days before you even think about using the car!
The cottage is all on one level with a private, flat patio with garden furniture and a large, private parking area immediately outside which can accommodate two vehicles.
Inside, the cottage has flag-stone floors throughout. The open plan kitchen/ living area has a "living flame" cast iron stove, beamed ceilings and a quality, three seater sofa. The stylish kitchen has a belfast sink and solar touch control hob with fan oven plus a microwave. There is a dining table and four chairs.
Relax in front of the flat screen tv with "Free Sat", dvd player (including a selection of dvds) and a digital radio. The Cottage also enjoys WiFi so you can check your emails whilst on your holiday.
There is a telephone where our guests can make calls to UK landline numbers for free.
A luxurious bathroom has a full sized bath with a shower and heated towel rails.
The double bedroom is fully furnished and has a quality, extra comfy double bed wtih Marks & Spencer "Autograph" bedlinen.
For those who want to really relax, we offer a gourmet food service.
Dogs by prior arrangement and in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Church Farm offers riding holidays in the beautiful Forest of Dean for those bringing their own horses, The farm is set in 50 acres of land, which includes grazing, a grass gallop and woodchip canter track, menage with rubber surface, show jumps and cross country jumps. There is excellent hacking into the forest with no road work necessary. The stables are brick built, 15ft x 10ft, set within a lovely stone yard. There is a heated tack room, toilet and separate feed room and rug drying area.
The accommodation, in old granary building, is situated in a stable courtyard next to the farmhouse and is suitable for anyone wanting a holiday on a farm in a quiet rural enviroment.
The building was newly converted in 1999 and furnished into two apartments and we have maintained the original character and features of the building. The building is two storey and each apartment is on a separate floor with separate entrances.
Each apartment has a bedroom sleeping two people (double or 2'6" wide twin beds), sitting/dining room with TV, fully fitted kitchen and bathroom with bath and hand shower.
The upstairs apartment has a sofa bed in the sitting room, and the downstairs apartment 'put you up bed' in the bedroom giving occasional sleeping accommodation for up to 3 people. Electricity provides heating, cooking and hot water. Bed linen and towels are provided. Also a welcome pack of tea, coffee, eggs, milk, juice and fruit for you when you arrive.
Please note smoking is not allowed in the apartments.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement, but must not be left unattended in the apartments

Holiday Bungalow in the village of Littledean near Cinderford
Twixt Severn and Wye, Forest Freedom Holiday Bungalow is ideally situated to visit and discover the perfect all year round, all weather holiday destination that is the Royal Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty bordering England and South Wales across the three counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire. For adventure-seekers, there is mountain biking, zip-wires, kayaking and much more. There is an abundance of cycling tracks for families of all ages and abilities. For something a bit more relaxing, why not try the Royal Forest of Dean and Wye Valley for walking, enjoying the views, visiting local castles, museums and cathedrals.
Forest Freedom Bungalow is located on the edge of Forest of Dean village of Littledean, Gloucestershire; it is situated in a quiet residential cul de sac with views towards the Soudley Valley and Cinderford hills. The Bungalow has three bedrooms, shower (wet) room/toilet, kitchen, large lounge/diner and Hallway. Parking for 3 cars, additional on street.
Littledean village centre is a 10 minute walk and has the local pub The Belfry, a very popular and well renowned Fish & Chip shop which people drive miles to get this traditional British takeaway, butcher/fruit merchant and the local shop/post office; Littledean Stores, there is also a hotel, the Littledean House Hotel. Just up the road in Cinderford are various shops and the supermarkets of Coop and Lidl, There are also multiple restaurants and takeaways details of which are in the Bungalow Guest book. Tesco is located 8 miles away in Lydney, Morrisons is 10 miles away in Ross on Wye, for further shopping, restaurants and attractions, the famous city of Gloucester is 14 miles drive.
Bedroom 1 has a super king size bed which can also be split into two singles, Bedroom 2 has a double bed and Bedroom 3 is fitted with 2 cabin style single beds. All beds have anti-allergy duvets & pillows and are tastefully dressed with decoratively linen. The lounge/diner has two 3 seat reclining settees, FreeSat system, LCD TV and DVD /Blu-ray player, a Stereo Hi Fi system with radio, CD player and Bluetooth connection and there's Free Fast Fibre Optic WiFi too. The dining area amply seats 6 people with room for up to 8 people.
Walking and cycling are a favourite in the Forest of Dean, just 10 minutes’ walk from the Bungalow, you have fantastic scenery of the Severn Valley with views from Worcestershire to Avon and across to the Cotswolds. A further 5 minutes’ walk and you are in the Forest and a beautiful walk to Soudley Ponds and the Forest of Dean Heritage centre. Jump in your car and you’re quickly into the centre of the Forest and Wye Valley with many attractions and things to do.
