The Miners Arms in Whitecroft is a traditional public house located in the Forest of Dean.
Approximately 2 miles from Lydney and close to the tourist village of Parkend. The pub is featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2006 and has a strong reputation for good cask ales and traditional ciders.
You will generally find four real ales and three traditional ciders on offer. The pub itself retains a traditional Forest pub character, reflected in the decor and the pub games such as skittles & quoits. For those with a preference for fresh air, there is also a less traditional boules court.
The Miners Arms is disabled friendly with wheelchair access throughout (including the alley/function room) and a disabled loo.
A popular blues club, 'The Blue Front Blues Room', is held twice a month in the skittle alley / function room. This has brought some well-known acoustic (mainly blues) artists to the Forest of Dean and has provided a venue for local, lesser known and up-and coming artists.
