The Inn On The WyeThe Inn On The Wye is a medium sized family run hotel,
situated in the beautiful Wye Valley
only yards away from the famous Wye river

Privately owned, The Inn on the Wye offers a unique blend of a family run hotel, professionally managed and presented, with an atmosphere that only customer care and quality can create.

The reputation for fine fayre draws people from far and wide to the Poachers Restaurant, where an extensive A La Carte menu is presented that delights the most discerning tastes, together with an interesting and good value wine list. In addition a comprehensive selection of bar meals are served in the Stable & Coach Bars.

The former 18th century coaching inn has recently been refurbished and now provides 10 en-suite bedrooms, each with colour TV, telephone and all the usual facilities.

The food served here is all home cooked and our chefs prepare a vast range of dishes from a relatively modest bar snack to a more robust choice from the à la carte menu. On Sundays a traditional roast is available in addition to the normal menu.

The gardens provide an outdoor picnic and seating area against a backdrop of the beautiful Wye Valley. For children there is an enclosed play area complete with climbing ropes, swings and a slide.

Granton House B&B

Granton House offers superior, comfortable en-suite accommodation in beautiful surroundings and serve delicious breakfasts, using local and home made produce

Welsh Travel Board AwardJohn and Liz Bloxham offer a very warm welcome at Granton House Bed and Breakfast. They are situated between Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire and are close to the Forest of Dean and Welsh Borders. The house has a secluded, south west garden, nestling into the valley and looks onto a conservation orchard and Coppet Hill beyond, which has many interesting pathways and is both a nature reserve and part of the Wye Valley Walk. Hay-on-Wye and Cardiff are less than an hour's drive away. They have private parking and secure lockup for bikes and fishing tackle and facilities to dry clothes for walkers.

Granton House B&B is an ideal location for a holiday or short break, with plenty of activities available locally, e.g. forest trails, angling, canoeing, horse riding or golf, and there are beautiful gardens to visit nearby. The house is also located only half an hour from Chepstow horse racing. Granton house probably dates from the late seventeenth century, when it may have been two cottages.

Affordable Luxury in a Beautiful Setting

Accommodation AwardsIn the shadow of Symonds Yat rock, this 15th century farmstead, set in 80-acres of wild pasture land, lies at the mouth of a beautiful gorge beside the River Wye. There are six holiday cottages each with their own individual charm and character sleeping between 2-7 people.

We offer guests salmon & coarse fishing, while nearby canoeing, bicycle tracks and other outdoor activities make this a perfect location for both family and romantic breaks.

Located in one of the most rural parts of the Wye valley (pictured below), theseholiday cottages are nevertheless excellently placed to explore the Forest of Dean, nearby historic towns or mountains and castles of the Welsh Borders.

Biblins Cottage ( 2 Bedroom / Sleeps 4 ) Really cute, cosy cottage. Biblins is full of character with exposed beams, small wood burning stove, arrow slit windows and a wrought iron spiral staircase.

Coppett Cottage ( 1 Bedroom / Sleeps 2 ) The Honeymoon cottage. This is a real gem combining a cosy downstairs area with wood burning stove and then a striking open plan bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Unique and very romantic.
Private garden with seating area.

Huntsham Cottage ( 2 Bedroom / Sleeps 4 ) Excellent sized rooms of great character.  Huntsham is the most spacious of the four  person accommodation and ideal for family  groups with views across the gardens and old  farmyard.

The Malthouse ( 2 Bedrooms / Sleeps 4 ) This former Malthouse is probably the most luxurious of our properties, arranged 'upside  down' to make the most of the views. Exposed beams in a beautiful open plan living area and  en-suite bathrooms to the highest specification along with private terrace. External courtyard with furniture.

Peregrine Cottage (3 Bedroom / Sleeps 6 + Cot) A heavily beamed former Hall House  converted in 1659 to the farmhouse.
Superb views over the River Wye and surrounding countryside. The exposed beams in most rooms, central heating
and wood burning stoves mean you get history and character in great comfort. Includes private wooded garden with furniture.

Cider Mill Cottage (4 Bedroom / Sleeps 7 + Cot) Forming half of the original farmhouse with Peregrine, this beamed ottage has many traditional features dating back to 15th century. Splendid views over countryside and the river. Central heating and wood burning stoves. Open garden. External seating area with furniture.

Parkwood Cottage (3 Bedroom / Sleeps 6 - no dogs) his charming Victorian era cottage has recently been extensively refurbished to a very high standard.
