Introduction to Kayaking - Get a taste of kayaking, find out why this sport is booming, feel the challenge and the fun. Basic boat handling skills are covered during a short day trip on the Wye, equipment, transport and coaching Included.

Introduction to Canoeing - As for kayak, although with canoe you may choose to learn tandem(with a partner) or solo, a taste of traditional canoe techniques, such as poling, lining or sailing also included.

Introduction to White Water Kayaking - Develop your skills to enable you to efficiently handle your craft on moving water, skills include reading moving water, hydrology, ferry-gliding, breaking in & out, support, hazard identification, line choice.

Alyn has been a youth worker and outdoor instructor for over ten years. In those years he has worked in two National outdoor centres in Northern Ireland and England.

Penny has been a worked with young people for over ten years. Penny is a qualified counsellor and has worked in a variety of area such as social services.

Explore some of the Forests many tunnels- Fun, a little bit scary and not
as exerting as caving!!
Raft Building
A great team exercise. Build your raft then navigate it around a course on
the lake (hopefully before it falls apart). Fun for all ages and
abilities.

We use the magnificent cliffs of Symonds Yat to enjoy an exhilarating, but safe experience. A real one to challenge you or your group. Overcome the fear of going over the edge and trust the rope!! This activity can de done as a stand alone activity but is best utilised as part of a climbing session.
We lead walks around the forest of Dean teaching navigation along the way. We can throw in some rescue scenarios or shelter building along the way. Our guides will show you points of interest along the way and tell you much of the Forests rich history and how it shaped the landscape of the Forest of Dean today.
We offer sessions on Mallards Pike lake, half and full day river trips, we teach simple fun wet sessions to more advanced kayaking techniques such as ferry gliding and surfing on the rapids of Symonds Yat.
