Oakfields, a 150 year old Cottage, enjoys a lovely setting in 1 acre of tranquil and secluded gardens
From its elevated position it commands magnificent views of the Severn Estuary and surrounding countryside.The cottage has been extended and beautifully renovated providingmodern facilities in a rural setting.
The twin-bedded en-suite room, with private entrance, has a small balcony from which the breathtaking views can be appreciated. The room offers a comfortable sitting area with remote control TV. Tea and coffee tray with fresh milk, incl. herbal and speciality teas.
Breakfast is served in the main house. The Dining Room with its log-burning stove is part of the original cottage and has wonderful views. Good quality breakfast. Special diets catered for.
The Gardens extend to 1 acre comprising two ponds and are a magnet for wildlife. The oak trees attract many species of birds including woodpeckers, jays, nuthatches etc.

Oakgrove holiday cottage boasts an envious position in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Shielded from a rural country lane by fields, and reached by a secluded driveway, this holiday cottage has direct access to local footpaths, bridle ways and Offa's Dyke.
The cottage is located in a sparsely populated rural area situated between the villages of Brockweir and St Briavels, each around a mile away. It benefits from its position bordering two beautiful areas of the Royal Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley.
This single storey stone cottage has recently been converted to include traditional cottage-style wood and stone features, and has been designed for comfort and convenience. It is detached from the main family house and benefits from its own private garden area and patio, with outdoor furniture. There is ample space for parking.The kitchen forms an integral part of the open-plan lounge/diner. There is a fridge, full size electric hob and microwave with convection oven and grill.
The cottage sleeps 2 in a double bedded room. Duvet and linen are provided.
